American education became a dinosaur the minute American ingenuity shifted the economic paradigm. In the 1980s computers, the hailing of the digital information age, changed what it meant to be a modern industrial nation.
The compartmentalized thought process holds us back.
In order to be great we need to find our freedom!
Administrators need to be free to create school culture that values innovation and gives students a chance to express their talents in a variety of ways.
Teachers need to be free to create classrooms for learners. Classrooms that focus on learners and their needs.
We need freedom from the users manual of education (text books).
Freedom to empower learners, freedom to empower schools to build young people that will once again change the paradigm of what it means to be a modern industrial nation!
